Glass Eel - The Line

Just released this wonderful slice of catchy, rootsy existential despair that manages to retain a sunshine quality - The Line.

It’s the debut release of Glass Eel, a brilliant new project from Alice Western, inspired by the second, translucent phase of an eel's life cycle, where young creatures drift unseen through the ocean like strands of glass - keeping a sense of dislocation, fragility and survival close to heart.

The Line perfectly encapsulates this, its soft rocking deep groove supporting a rumination on the tensions of keeping on the straight and narrow while chaos from within and without threatens and tempts.

Glasshouse Red Spider Mite - Ant Mill

Glasshouse Red Spider Mite are back again with another banger, this one combines their signature downtrodden, spaciousness with a crushing finale of slow-moving, heavy as hell rock. They’re really proving themselves to be something special. With a wonderful visualiser / music video put together by MoD’s own AJ Capozzi.
