Gg (caroline project) out now

plus music news

Gg - Byre one

Gg is a project started by Mike O’Malley, Jasper Llewellyn and Casper Hughes, founding members of the band caroline.

Started as a way back to the free flowing early days of caroline, Gg works improvisationally - coming up with ideas as recording before cutting and curating.

‘Byre one’ was recorded in Scotland, and comes with a video by Thomas Hogge.

In other news…

Naima Bock

Naima Bock’s new album Below A Massive Dark Land came out in September. It’s a wonderful album, showing off her increasingly confident songwriting, and her ever improving vocal skills, with a diverse suite of arrangements and natural additives

She’s just wrapping up a UK tour now, before heading to Europe and then also has a special Danish tour and London show next year. Tickets here.

Porridge Radio

Porridge Radio’s new album Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me came out one month ago. It’s maybe a perfect combination of their early raw power and more recent maturations.

They’re on tour around the UK, US, EU, Canada, you name it. Go get a ticket.

Grove

Grove is continuing to play a slew of amazing shows while also cooking up something incredible. Upcoming EU/UK dates here.

Kiran Leonard

Kiran Leonard has been very busy since the release of Real Home earlier this year. He’s done a couple of UK tours, and has a London show left with the amazing Sunglasz Vendor on the 27th November - come!

Alvidrez

Alvidrez has been keeping a mysteriously low profile since Antiphon came out in February, but is making a rare appearance in London with one of my fave bands Sniffany & The Nits on the 26th November.

Thanks all for listening, looking and paying attention.
